Anna Bensi, the 21-year-old Cuban Who Has Lost Fear

HAVANA TIMES – Anna Bensi, the public name of Ana Sofía Benítez Sirvente, is a 21-year-old woman from Havana who has lost her fear. Her videos on TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook portray the hardships endured by Cubans while making a clear case for freedom.

Bensi dreams of a new Cuba free from the shackles of dictatorship and believes the time has come for a country overwhelmed by blackouts, poverty, and a lack of freedom. Her activism has subjected her to constant harassment by State Security agents.
