Inmate Death in Venezuela’s Women’s Prison Raises Alarm

Over the weekend of June 20-21, an inmate in Venezuela’s “La Crisalida” women’s prison died for lack of adequate medical care.

Cuban opposition leader Manuel Cuesta Morúa was released after being detained, mistreated and threatened with death by State Security agents.
