HAVANA TIMES – Today we bring you something quite different, a Historical Instruments musical documentary filmed in Cantigas de Santa María, Spain. (2026)
“This documentary explores the musical universe of the Cantigas de Santa María, focusing on the role of historical instruments in medieval performance.
“Through this project, we present instruments such as the medieval organ, the lyre and the citole, approaching their history, construction and sound.
“These instruments allow us to better understand how music was created and performed in the 13th century, bringing us closer to the sound world of medieval Iberia.”
